I found this piece of scrap MDF in the garage, so I decided to use that.

I’ve seen similarly sized pieces for about $5 at the hardware store., you’ll find all kinds of good stuff.

There’s also a lot of discussion as to which ones should be used and shouldn’t for different applications.I’ve been trying a whole bunch of them out and I’ll be sharing some of the best ones I’ve used over the next little while..

The idea of using salt appealed to me because it’s so darn simple and so darn cheap too.And it really works!
